When moving into a new home always make sure you change the locks front and back of property as you will not be aware who may have spare keys to your home and that they meet the insurance standards look for the kite mark on the faceplate which is on the edge of door it should read BS3621 and have 2007 insurance approved this  is on morticed locks and normally wooden doors only!!!!

In my local area there has been some thefts on properties with upvc doors,they are breaking in via cylinder,there are however some anti snap pick and drill cylinders available which i can supply you if you think your property is left a long time and is vulnerable dont hesitate to contact me for advice  these cylinders are now being specified by insurance companies
